Archive Lucille Power Super Bowls! Performed on Saturday 23rd September

Lucille spent the Saturday of the last Tract weekend playing bowls as the invited guest of Penlee Bowling Club. The performance on the seafront near the Newlyn Gallery was a variation on a similar but more protracted work in which Lucille joined a bowling club in London for a year. This relatively long commitment culminated in a film that documented the lives and relationships of the other more elderly members.

Both the work in London and that in Cornwall had the quality of an ethnographic observational research project, in which the subjects were all members of the same club.
